What makes me tick?
Humble Beginnings
I grew up with a passion for food, and as an avid home cook, I was an early adopter of the Good Food movement. When I concluded a 30-year career as a political journalist in Washington, D.C., and moved in 2011 to my wife’s hometown of Chicago, I was determined to use my talents to advance the cause of a better-for-people, better-for-the-planet food system.
