Panel on Food as Medicine, Spectacular Chicago Chefs Cook Dinner Lineup Await

For the second consecutive year, the Pendry Chicago boutique hotel is collaborating with the Chicago Chefs Cook philanthropic non-profit on Chefsgiving, a fundraising program and spectacular dinner at the hotel's Venteux restaurant.

The event will be held on Thursday, November 21 with a panel discussion on food as medicine at 4:30 p.m. and the dinner starting at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Common Threads, the Chicago-based non-profit with a mission to improve community health through the power of food and nutrition. Common Threads provides culinary and nutrition education programs throughout the U.S., working closely with families, schools and community-based partners to promote the benefits of cooking and meal sharing on our physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being.
