I love me some cornbread, so I'm going to give this one a try. This recipe was contributed to Natural Awakenings Chicago by Janie Maxwell, executive director of Illinois Farmers Market Association.



NAVY BEAN TUSCAN KALE SOUP

This hearty soup is filled with tasty ingredients, and it has major health benefits. It is adapted from the book Eat Like a Girl, a cookbook focused on improving women’s health through food. In the Natural Awakenings article, author Mindy Pelz describes this recipe as "one of my favorite winter soups for hormone balance."
