Chef Sebastian White to Team with Chef Diana Davila at Mi Tocaya Antojeria
Sebastian White, a clinical psychologist turned chef, is founder of The Evolved Network, a non-profit that works in schools to provide underprivileged youths with food education, culinary skills and life skills through farm to table experience.
Since 2022, Sebastian has collaborated with some of the Chicago region's leading chefs on fabulous fundraising dinners held at their restaurants. If you've never been to one, you should, because it's a treat.
Good news: I learned on Wednesday about Sebastian's latest creative collaboration — a dinner on Monday, February 17 at the highly regarded Mi Tocaya Antojeria Mexican restaurant in the Logan Square neighborhood (2800 W. Logan Blvd.). He'll be teaming with Diana Davila, Mi Tocaya's chef-owner, who is nationally recognized for her excellent cuisine.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m., with a five-course dinner to follow. There are two ticket levels, one with and one without curated drink pairings.
