Join The Evolved Network, Women United! and Chicago United Solidarity Project
Three visionary Chicago non-profits with social justice missions are collaborating on a fun-with-purpose fundraising event this Saturday (December 7).
The Unite! for a Cause event — which will be held at the Hairpin Arts Center (2810 N. Milwaukee Ave., 2nd floor) in the Logan Square neighborhood — will benefit the following organizations:
Chicago United Solidarity Project (CUSP)
CUSP celebrates difference, self-determination, and the full spectrum of ability and identity. Through meaningful relationships and aid, CUSP works toward collective liberation and interdependent communities where people can thrive.
The Evolved Network (TEN)
TEN provides experiential programming through culinary and gardening equipping youth in systemically oppressed communities with transformative healing, skills and support needed to evolve into masters of their unique gifts. Local Food Forum has written often about the work of Sebastian White, the clinical psychologist turned chef who launched The Evolved Network in 2020.
Women Unite! (WU!)
WU! believes in the power of women. Through free and sliding-scale capacity building services, WU! Is growing the power and resources of BIPOC, women, and queer-led organizations across Chicago.
According to the organizers, the event will include:
Plenty of hors d'oeuvres and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages!
An activation station that provides hands-on opportunities to support incredible local causes!
Music and dancing!
Raffle prizes!
And, of course, the chance to connect and build relationships!
