Show Your Fall Colors at New Co-op's Family Friendly Event
Just sharing a heads up that our friends at Wild Onion Market — Chicago's newest cooperative grocery store — will be holding a Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 26 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the store located at 7007 N. Clark St. in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood. It is free to attend and described as family friendly.
Wild Onion informs that more details are to come early next week, and I'll share them.
After a long period in which Chicago's Dill Pickle and Oak Park's Sugar Beet were the region's only co-ops, Wild Onion joined FOODshed in exurban Woodstock in opening its doors this year. Also in the works are Prairie Food Co-op in suburban Lombard and Chicago's Chicago Market.
